Default PKE & Fob issues...stumped

Looking for any kind of help as its above my head. Drivers door will lock from the inside but when I press the button on the fob the passenger door will lock but the drivers will not. It makes a noise from inside the door like its trying. The Fob will open the hatch. Ideas?

Just bought the car and did not check it out. Not the smartest thing I've done lately. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the forum.
Probably need to take the door panel off to see what is happening. Also might want to post the year of the car which might help others give you some advice.

Thanks to all that looked at the post. After talking to a GM tech at a dealer the answer was found. Inside of the fob is a small tube with a metal ball that was stuck. When the ball doesn't move it will not talk to the PKE module in the dash. After cleaning the inside of the tube so it would move all is good. He said that it is normal that the door button on the fob will not lock the drivers door when pressed, only the passenger door will lock.
