Running rough

1993 Ruby LT1 70K miles. Car is running real rough at highway speed 1500 rpm or so. Almost feels like it is strving for fuel. No codes coming back. I had it in the shop earlier this week and it had a code for EGR coming back and they replaced the valve and at my requirest changed all the plugs. The problem just seems real intermittent when it started doing it this afternoon the SES light did come on but is now offand still no codes....Ideas? Fuel filter? Pump? Clogged injectors?

Thanks!

RE: Running rough

Does 15c revs in the driveway do the same thing?

RE: Running rough

Check fuel pressure. Another might be ignition, such as Optispark, wires.

Thanks for all the tips.....that being said this is my first newer toy car, have lots of older chevy's and checking fuel pressure is not a problem, but how fo I do it on this motor....??? Thanks in advance.

RE: Running rough

Connect a fuel pressure gauge by screwing the gauge on to the shrader valve on the fuel rail.
