HELP!!

I have an '89 Coupe with standard seats. The trouble is they are worn completely out.


I just found a set of nearly mint Sport Seats from an '87 that were cheap.

My question is what will I need to do to make them work in my '89? I have 6 way power seats now and all the functions on the Sport Seats work correctly. Will they plug into the existing wiring harness?

I doubt the harness connections will match nor the wires be positioned the same but you can call a corvette savage company and get a harness connector for your year and play with the wires which will not be color coded the same.

You need to measure the mounting studs on the frame first but that too could be moved but not easily . Would take some fabrication and drilling.

I don't know anything for sure but I do know it's doable !
