what are the switches called that change the mph to km and oil temp and all that good stuff called i need to replace them and i cant find them because idk what to look under it a 86 vett

 

Near as I can tell from my shop manual for the 84,they call them function select switches. There was one on the list called "metric select",so I'm guessing these are what you're looking for.

and where can i find a replacement for them i looked all over ebay and googled some but i still cant find nothing =(

 

Never having had that particular problem,I don't know where to get the part. Have you tried the site sponsors or Eckler's,Corvette central,Mid America,Zip's? Maybe even your local dealer? I found some really weird little pieces for both my vettes at Zip's.
