91 corvette 275-40-17 tires. Normal driver,don't spin wheels.Less expensive tires .I'm 76 and any tire will outlive me.Live in Conroe Texas 30 miles north of houston.No snow or ice.Need help on limited income.THANKS

 

Cheapest tires I could find were some Sumitomos on Tire rack at $97 each. There was another site that had 255-45's from a Chinese outfit for $90,personally I would pay the $7 for the Sumitomos. I checked on some 16's since 17's are usually higher,but the 16's ran the same prices,no help there. I have Sumitomos on my 84 and they seem to be OK. I haven't driven it much,couple thousand miles maybe,but no issues.
