Default tires

hey, does anybody have any suggestions for tires for 1989 vette. I bought the car about 2 months ago but the rear tires are pretty worn down so I would like to put new ones on. Right now the car has goodyears on the rear and yokohamas on the front. I personally dont care for 2 differnt brands of tires. Any suggestions on tires would be helpfull and any suggestions on tires that dont break the bank would be even better. thanks

i put kumo supra 712s on my car and the hug the road great and are super in the rain i ahve run these tires on my 87 vert vette and my 99 trans am and love them they dont last as long as other tires but they have a killer price so its worth it to me to have less life but preform as good as they do. i have a lot harder time braking the tires loose with these tires tan other tires they hook so good

i also have kumho ecsta's on the rear of my car... they seem to do really well on dry ground and in the rain.

I've got a 93 LT1 with only 252700 miles on it and Have always used the Goodyear GSC's that came with it since it was first born. Some people badmouth the GSC's but I can tell you I average 40000 to 45000 miles per set. Found out early on that 41PSI seems to work rather well. Try tirerack.com they have some great tech assistance as well as prices and service. I'm sure you'll be very satisfied.

I have an '87 that I just put Yokohama's on front and rear. They are AWESOME. Hug corners with an incredible grip. No problems what-so-ever in the rain. Besides, they look really cool!
