Ok, so I need to either have the 4x3 in the car rebuilt, preferably with out the overdrive or swap in a different tranny altogether. Does anyone know what transmission will go in with the minimum fuss and bother? I've checked in to a Tremec 5 spd, but damn they are pricey. Is there any others that will work , like maybe a t-56 or something of that sort??? I've already put a pile of $$$ into this car so I'd just like to get it to where I can drive it and just enjoy it for a change!!
