Default Used exhaust Price?

Hey guys, Im about to head to Lowes motor speedway for the AutoFair. If you dont know its a giant swap meet. I have my factory exhaust for my 95 lt1 and was going to sell it. its in really good shape. I was thinking 150-200 bucks, but i called a couple ofcorvette salvage yards and they are charging around 500 bucks... what do you guys think a good price is?

Swap meets, even automotive swapmeets can be dicey. Especially when you have a very specific item like yours. You'll have to think. How many people coming into the swap meet actually have Corvettes... then out of that number of people, how many of them need to upgrade/replace their exhaust..... then out of THAT number, how many people have $400 cash ready to dish out, then out of THAT number, how many will actually hand it over. BUT, bring it and hope for the best... If I were you, I'd bring a tall pole with a sign way up highthat says CORVETTE STUFF!! in big black letters. Why? because Corvette owners tend to be older guys who just don't have the legs like they used to. I know when I go to Englishtown Raceway Park, NJ I can't get to every vendor the way I used to.

I've had the best luck shooting high, having a counter offer, then split the difference. More or less, I end up getting close to my asking price [sm=signs003.gif]
