RE: Washed engine now it won't start - help!
ORIGINAL: VetteFever Leader one...Please let me know what the dealer charges Mine could be on the outs as I watered my engine last nite and it is backfiring and running rough. Member Eggster ran through a puddle and was able to dry his out without replacing the Opti. Could you post your experience and $$$ If you know you need an Opti I would not hesitate doing it yourself. It isn't that bad as long as you have time to do it. If the Vette can be down for a weekend that should be more than enough timer to do the Opti, Water Pump, seals and while you are under there, wires, plugs and coil WTH... Take care. I see some juice on the ASR box. I think you should head for the car wash...

ORIGINAL: cwb ORIGINAL: Leader One Well LeesVette you were correct. The dealer just called and said the opti gave up the ghost. He also said that it was on it's way out as it was. This I find hard believe because of my mileage. Nevertheless, it is getting fixed and I will be picking it up Monday. OPEN THE POD-BAY DOORS, HAL!!!!!!![sm=headbang.gif] (Sorry....couldn't resist...one of my fav movie quotes of all time.) Sorry your Opti's toast......let us know the repair bill, please. |
