Hey ladies and gentlemen i have a 1984 corvette red with red interior It has only a few little paint chips but a very strait body with no cracks. It has good interior except the console lid needs to be replace but still looks good. It has the cross fire 350 still in it with a few mods. I have A 180 over cam , Hot plugs, performance wires, and i am running strait pipes with imco performance exaust with lt1 crome tips. It has brand new rear suminutro tires so guys how much would i get on a trade in for a late c5. thanx

 

No one can give u a reasonable estimate. Its worth whatever someone will pay for it. I would pay 6 or 7 grand for it. Give or take a 1000 depending on actual condition in my view.[&:]

 

You would get more in a private sale, than a trade-in at a dealership. You might want to consider that, if it's logistically reasonable for you.

 

You would get nothing on a trade in because dealers go on market value and 84 model car is not much of a marketable item. Fact ofthe matter, some wouldn't even consider a trade in.

 

Look in your local paper, and see what the asking price is for your car . That will give you an idea.

Yeah for a nice 84' vette I would pay between 5-9000$USD. I sold My 94' vette with a rebuilt LT1 and a fresh black paint job for 8,000$USD, and I bought my current 86' ( In less than perfect Condition ) for 5,000 So if you sell it privatelyyou willbe able to get more! But the real ? is why sell you Vette

 

the dealers would give next to nothing. private sale all the way

 

b4 i bought my 85 the lady who owned it took in to price it on a trade and the dealer told her it wasnt worth no more than 2000 ???wtf was he thinking but thats how they make there $low ball ya on a decent trade then sell high
