Wheel center cap

Any good hints on how to remove without damaging the C4 emblem from the wheel center caps? I want to restore my original 89 rims. Thanks!

In the back of the center armrest is a tool, looks like a "T". the small barrel should fit the shamock shape lock in the cap.

Thank you for the reply.
Maybe my question was not too clear but I'm talking about removing the plastic logo from the center cap not how to remove the center cap from the rim. Must be my accent ... :)!!!
Have a great day and a great ride.

No, it wasn't your accent. Re-read your question after I posted it and sense that your were aware of how to remove the center ring.

I totally understood your question the first time. I must have the same accent:D:D:D

On my '87 baby I used a VERY small flat head screw driver. They just pop right off very easily.

Then again I wasn't very worried because I was replacing them with brand new ones from MidAmerica.

They were cheap but what a difference they made in the appearance department[8D]

Hope this answers your question[sm=icon_cheers.gif]
