How's the Chinese stainless steel holding up?

 

The exhaust pipes to the mufflers are hot enough to turn a golden color but no one would ever see that. The mufflers are perfect as new but the wide rear tires throw slop on them regularly. If you want them to look like new you have to wipe them down with chrome polish. I drove back and forth to Maine from Connecticut last fall at 75-80 and the heat did not discolor the mufflers at all. I guess the stainless steel wool packing acts as insulation to protect the outer shell.
