Air conditioning not coming out drivers side

I have a problem with my air conditioning on my 1998 coupe. The passenger side gets nice and cold, but the drivers sideonly blows warm air.[/align]I have the dual climate control system, but even with the driver's side
temperature control set to the maximum cooling position, I only get warm air on the drivers side. Any ideas what could be wrong? Please help!!

Have you tried setting the climate control to 60deg and bumping the fan control up, manually?.......... good luck........ 8-)

I've tried that - I think it has something to do with the flappers in the air system not allowing the air to exit the drivers side.

Does anyone know if the flappers are easily reached?

With the fan speed at manual full speed, if you get heavy air flow then my suggestion would be to borrow a "service manual" to investigate the air flow doors. I have an '03 with all three volumes I couldn't get along without.
Good luck....... 8-)

More than likely, your driver side blend door actuator is bad. It is stuck in the open posistion on the heater core blend door and not shutting off the core to keep the heated air out.

Thank you very much! That is helpful! I'm taking it to my mechanic on Friday, so at least I have some idea of what may be going on.
