Default A/C

Hello, I've got a 2000 Conv. that started blowing ambient air with the A/C selected. My A/C lights come on on the controller and the compressor is engaging. I assumed it needed servicing so I hooked up my servicing kit to it and the pressure read 130#, in the warning area. No HVAC codes. Any ideas. Thanks.

Hey Ibelew, is that 130 psi on the low pressure side with the compressor running?

Under the hood, is the AC line coming from the evaporator going back to the compressor getting cold?

I've set the controller at 60 degrees. I tested the pressure on the low side thinking it needed a recharge and the recharge kit only fits the low side fitting. None of the cooling lines are getting cool at this time.
Thanks.

If you've got 130 psi on the low side with the compressor running, then the compressor's not pumping. A way to know for sure is to take it to a shop and have the pressure on the high side checked. If the compressor's not pumping, you'll have the same pressure on both sides. Pressure on the low side should be around 35 psi with everything working right.
