Default customizing

has anybody ever seen a C5 with vertical dors? if so, how did it look? My wife wants to do this to ours. Also, have any of you ever installed these kits?

There are getting to be more and more corvettes in our area and we are considering a few other customizations as well, to give ours its own personality. I definitely plan on getting a glass top, maybe paint the calipers and possibly new wheels. the vertical doors were her idea but ive never seen any of these up clos to know if id like them....any opinions?

I've seen a C5 with them and talked with the owner and the owner of shop that installed them. There are two different kits/suppliers I think and I don';t which I saw. Its a fairly straightforward if major job to install, but there isa lot of fiddling and shims and adjustments to get the doors to close so they level and flat and tightly sealed.
The one I saw open up and outward, too, and it seemed to me not quite far enough either way. It attracts attention but frankly I think its rather "bling" and probably transitory in its appeals-- like spinner wheels.

Agree w/ Lee. I would just get the rims (black depending on color) and like red calipers (again, depending on color).
