Decided to do some re-decorating under the hood. I used Dupli-Color METALCAST Red Anodized to paint the fuel rail covers and the radiator shroud. It isn't perfect but I think it turned out pretty good. I had to use Dupli-Color METALCAST Base paint as sort of a primer so the color would come out like anodized metal. I'm including some before and after pics.
Very nice thanks for sharing. I knew a guy back in the late 70's, he was a navy recruiter that bought a new Corvette every year. He pulled the car out of the garage just about every weekend and washed it then he either drove or just washed it and put it back in the garage. One weekend he repainted the spare tire cover. Immaculate cars every one of them.
Not sure where all his money came from, he and his wife both worked, no kids. At 45 years old 2 commuter cars a small house and a weekend corvette, which he never raced, just drove and washed it. The dream life..
I recently cleaned real good under the hood with just degreaser and garden hose but on the plastic I used armor all to try and get the shine back and its like it just soaked it up and stayed faded, I hear great things about chemical guys products Im definitely going to get some.. thanks
