Just ordered the Callaway honker, and can't wait to get it!
kind of feeling like a kid in a candy store!

Ordered it from Corvettes of Houston, they had **free shipping**.

Will post my thoughts when I get it installed.
Any ideas how difficult it is to install?

Installation is probably no more involved than is my CAI mode for the Halltech Stinger and Blackwing intakes. More than likely, you will need to remove the lower radiator cover. I've outlined that pretty well with plenty of pics in my procedure. You can find it here:

Thanks Dave, I remembered this link from awhile back, and been looking it over. Like you said I most likely will be removing the radiator cover. I don't mind a little challenge at all.

It was easy for me, I'm the second owner of mine, and don't have to worry about the extended warranty, since i don't have one, , but With just 37K on my 98, I hope to be enjoying it "trouble free" for quite some time. I do look forward to the extra "horses" though, can't wait!

 

Great to hear you're getting your Callaway Honker. I really would like to go with the Honker. I just went with Warranty Direct for my Extended Warranty, so I won't be Installing it yet. I'm waiting to hear more Information from other people about C.A.I. systems and Extended Warranties. I will be Installing a Borla Stinger Quad Exhuast system, Warranty Direct told me that would be okay.

Just talked to Corvettes of Houston, and they said the Honker is on back order from Callaway. Said it's probably 3 weeks out from shipping.
Guess they are waiting on the filter from France.

Thank I'll do a little more searching, and see if it is stock somewhere else, I got myself all worked up now, Hahahaha.
