I have a 2001 Z06 and i'm exploring the idea of adding a HUD. Has anyone installed a HUD in their vette that can offer up some suggestions on buying and installing a HUD? Was it worth the cost and the time? How was the quality of the HUD on a non HUD window?

I bought a HUD kit from this Josh on the CF: http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show...&highlight=hud
I intstalled it in my 99 and it works great on my non-hud windshield. I can't tell between mine and my friends factory hud windshield.

Josh supplies about 25 pages of instructions step by step with pictures. I understand he now includes a video. I'm no mechanic and the task looks complicated, but I did it in about 7-8 hours (off and on one weekend) just following each step.
