Thanks, I always wonder about something that wants your email address before you can even see what it is.

Okay, guess I jumped the gun. Went to check the site again. Now you can view it without an email address. You're right. Seems interesting. But, at least in my area it needs more listings. I'm sure it will get better in time.

Hi guys, I'm the co-founder of LocalVette.net. Sorry we weren't around to answer this post sooner - but you're exactly right, the idea is to offer a comprehensive directory of local Corvette products and services. We're listing quality service shops, clubs, etc, and want people who have had experience with them to leave reviews that will help the rest of the Corvette community make an educated decision about the best places to go.

We're still ramping up on cities and shops in those cities and can certainly use help. We have an "add a listing" form that you can fill out with suggestions on places that should be listed, even if that city isn't on the map yet. http://localvette.net/add

We also want to encourage anyone who's had experience with any of the listings to write a review and let everyone know what they think. As helpful as these forums are for general discussion and troubleshooting, we believe having a separate local directory that focuses on reviews will offer a more efficient means of choosing where to take your Vette when it needs some tender loving care.

We're actively developing new features for the site and always welcome feedback and suggestions on how to make it better. Let us know what you think!
