I'm with yellowC5 -- I tend to hire it done anymore. Unless you have a lift it is really no fun trying to install headers on a C5 or C6. The cam is kind of involved to install, too.

Guys, if I had the equipment I would have done it myself. But with no lift, not going to happen. The labor charge was 1200.00, without the cam. Cam would have voided my extended warranty, so that will wait. Otherwise, all are on and boy does it sound different. And it definitely has more pull from the start. He said he had a time getting the passenger side stock manifold off, raised motor to get it out, headers went in easy. Haven't set a code, so didn't need my O2 sims. But that was alot of work and I really didnt have the time or equipment to do. Plusthere is a warranty for the work.

Im with yellow and Lee; If I had the tools to do the job right I would do almost all my work. I don't have the right tools and want it done right so I have to bite the bullet and pay someone.

Looks like Santa stopped at your house early this year. Nothing like loading up the Vette with some new toys. We definitely want to hear/see a sound or video clip of the car. By the way how long are you going to have to wait to install the cam?
