Default RE: I had my vette lowered....what about paint?

Thanks for so graciously accepting my little bit of preaching. When I first got my vette in February, I was clueless about taking it easy due to the low profile. I got smart real fast! My driveway is pitched and my front air dam drags just a bit everytime I pull out, and I only weigh 112; subsequently, I always pick up my husband out on the street. All the neighbors think it's really funny, but he is a great guy and just laughs it off. Pulling in is not a problem.

About the flames - I love them! I think the burgundy color is really sexy, but blue is a cool color, too. Guess it is really up to you. You can't go wrong either way. Keep sending the pictures. I have to take some new pics of my vette. All my pics so far have me in them (I was so proud when I first got it) so I have to get some bragging pics to post here. Stay tuned.

I'm now reconsidering getting a cold air intake because I don't think I'll be able to clean the filter properly. I wonder if that is something a service shop would be willing to do? Maybe when they change the oil. I know they would charge me, but it would be worth it. Don't you think?

Take care and stay safe,
Rita

No need to worry about them changing your filter.....they'll see a blonde...they'll see a hot vette....yep, they'll change the filter for you!!! Don't take this wrong but you just leave hubby at home that day to cash in on the blonde/hot car thing

I, on the other hand, would have to beg just to get them to look at the filter [&:]

GHOST FLAMES!!! I LOVE 'EM!!!! I'd go for it, if I were you! But be warned; you are making an ALREADY outstanding car even more outstanding... people are gonna look at you wherever you go, no matter whether they are Vette folks or not. Those paint jobs catch the eyes of everyone.

I love it!

Both those pictures you posted with the flames look amazing...blue has always been my favorite color, but it this case you might not want to go with the same color your mechanic has. Long story short the flames get a [sm=smiley20.gif] and I don't think you can really go wrong with the color (unless of course you choose pink or something, lol).
