RE: Pics of my new 98
Nice pics looks like it was well taken care of. Mine came with both tops aswell. It was cool at first but then ended up just being a pain in the butt. My clear top just sits in my house now.

Nice looking car. Looks pewter in color as is mine. My acrylic top is not in as good a shape as yours. I think the dealer gave me a crappy one, not the one that went with the car. The rest of the car was in such good shape that I find it hard to believe that the top is crackled so badly. Anyway, enjoy! I've had mine for @month and still loving it!

CONGRATULATIONS to you on your new car and a big thumbs up for the previous owner, who obviously took care of his Corvette!!
You obviously don't have to answer the following questions, but for the benefit of other folks that mightbe in the market for a C5....How many miles on the car and what'd you pay for it?
Congratulations once again!

RE: Pics of my new 98
My 98 has just over 60k for miles (60,376). I paid $15,500 for it. The carfax is clean and detailed. The car was a one owner car who lived local, he is a Doctor who kept it in the garage and drove it back and forth to his practice on occasion. He traided it in at the dealership for an 07. I know the used car manager, he has three Vettes a 67 split window he won't let you breath on, and a 94 he drives every day. His wife drives an 03. I have been talking to him for a long time and trying to decide between a C3 and a C5 he has been keeping his eye out of me. When his sister dealership got this 98 in he went and picked it and held it for me. I paid what they gave for it, the dealership did not have it three hours. I have seen this exact same car at Corvettes of Houston go regurally for $24,000. The car is loaded with all of the options, both tops, and there is not a mark on it. I have to say a big thanks to the Doctor who treated it like a baby, and to my buddy Ron at the Dealership for keeping his eyes open. All in all I can not be more happy, and I think I made the right decision on the C5, maybe I will pick a C3 up later as a project car?
