I have an opportunity to buy a yellow 2003 Z06 with 60,000 miles on the body and it has a intercooled prochargedD1SC supercharger. The vette was traded into a dealership i work at. After it was traded in the engine blew up so the dealership footed the bill to pay for a brand new engine. i have driven it and it rides as good as new and is in very good condition. How much would yall be willing to pay if you were in my situation?

 

With a brand new engine, I'd day that it is a good deal. Even a new C6 with 100 less HP will cost at least $15-20K more.

 

Why'd the engine blow up? Wasn't supercharger related was it?

I'd be leary until you find out exactly what happened, new engine or not.

 

I wander if they just put a stock engine back in? I assume they left the charger on it! 60k is quite a few miles for 30k.
I would sell my fully built 01 coupe with 18k miles for close to that.
