Just curious if anyone has ever upgraded their dash with like a dash kit. I was just wondering if I were to buy the brushed aluminum dash kit, would it actually be aluminum or just some plastic again.

My goal is to upgrade it from plastic and get something a little nicer. Like leather if possible. Let me know if you guys know something.

 

The ones I've seen are real aluminum (but very thin), or real wood (if that's what you are buying). I don't know about this one, however.

 

Would you recommend buying it and if so do you know of a certain kit that is for sure? price? Thanks in advanced.

 

I saw some wood ones at a corvette show and they looked pretty tasteful. I am not sure about the aluminium and personally I think this and thecarbon fiber would look tacky.
