RE: Question about rim and tire upgrade
I have 19s on my rear and 18s on the front. I have 295-35-19's on the rear but with the right rim I think you can get 305's without doing a tub kit. I have z06 rims and rocky mountain corvette said 295's were the biggest I could get without rubbing. They also said with a different rim I could get 305's. My car is also lowered so that might have something to do with not being able to do 305's on my z06 rims.

RE: Question about rim and tire upgrade
Someone like the Tirerack can give you advice on the wheel tire combinations that will fit and permit 305s, or a good corvette performance shop if you find one.
You can put 10.5 inch wide rims and 295s on the rear without nay problem 9 to 9.5 inch in front with 265s or 275s. If you have not lowered (or have raised slightly) the rear and have the right wheels 305s will just fit on the rear.
