Rims
WOW!I have been reading this forum for 2 weeks and everyone seems to LOVE the Corvette regardless of the little issues that happen here and there. I am trying to find rims that are not the "corvette" rims.I am having problems with aftermarket makers that have a 17 x7.5 inch front with 18x8.5 or 9.5inch rear rim. Does anyone know of any makers that I could research? BTW- I just purchased a 98 nassau blue coupe that should be here this week.

RE: Rims
First, you could look through tirerack.com. I've bought from them before and liked the result, they carry a very wide range of economical wheels and have aserach engine to help you find what's right for you. I bought a set of SSR's that were quite good.
I sure there are many places, but for really premium wheels, the type you would trust at truly high speeds, you can look at Lingenfelter's web site but be prepared for big bucks. They carry Fikse and HRE and others -- not much difference in cost among what they carry: Fikse and HRE and the other lines there are all tough, light, premium wheels. Probably run $4000 a set of more: I don't remember exactly but I think my Fikse's ran about $950 front (18x9) and $1200 rear (18 x 13).

RE: Rims
Another vote for TIRERACK.COM
also check out EBAY.COM
theres some great deals at both places, and TIRERACK is a great place to buy from.
You would also be surprised what EBAY has to offer
Good luck, and post some pics when you get your car
