Default sqeaking c5

My 2000 squeaks when going over speed bumps, dips etc. I have taken it to a garage where they have lubbed the front and rear control arm bushings which worked for a couple of weeks then the squeaking started again. I took it back and this time he heated them and re lubbed them and once again it worked for about a week or two and started again.
Question- in Corvette America and Ecklers catologs they show two bushing kits.one for under $100.00 and one for $269.00. The difference being the more expensive one has 4 billet off-set upper control arm shafts. Do i really need to buy the kit with the billets (should they be part of the squeaking problem or not). Or can you tell one way or the other?

Default RE: sqeaking c5

I'm experiencing the same thing with my 98. I have done a lot of internet surfing on this and still have'nt come up with a remedy or a real cause, I have even had the dealer here in town tell me, "Ah all these vettes do that".
It's more annoying than anything. I have heard that installing all new "poly" bushings will help, but I just can't believe they drove them off the assembly line sounding like this, has to be some easy fix/repair out there.
