Hey everyone, I just got a 2002 Black Z06 today and it has the 2 tip Magnaflow exhaust on it. Piece of advice, NEVER BUY THAT EXHAUST!!!

The car was about 2 and a half hours away from my house, and I'm 16, so I can deal with stuff, and I like loud, but between 1700 and 2100 rpm, IT IS UNBEARABLE!!!! I kid you not, I had an awful headache when I got home, not the best bonding experience. But I do love me car nevertheless. LOVE IT!!!!!!

Anyway, the point of the post, does anyone out there have or know of someone who does have the original stock TI Exhaust uncut? I would really like to put that back on there, I love that sound. Thanks to any replies.

 

Occasionally you see them for sale used. I sold mine abnout four years ago for $500. There are a number of aftermarket exhausts that are not terribly loud. I have the GHL flow through and, like the Borla Stinger, which is also a flow through style, it has no resonance.

 

Well I just bought a stock TI exhaust with only about 9000 miles on it from a guy on Corvette Forum. Nice guy. He's shipping it Thursday so I'm psyched about getting it, I love that sound. Love new stuff too.
