Does anyone have any experience with Magnuson Superchargers? What do you think of them?

From what I have read in a few C5 forums, Magnusons are excellent superchargers with more low-end torque than most. However, installation requires a new hood and if your C5 is Mag Red, a good match is not a sure thing. Consider the added hood cost when you compare superchargers.

 

Also weigh the pros & cons of turbo vs supercharger (more torque/#boost, variable boost, no need for aftermarket intake or exhaust).
