Default Suspension options

Which of the suspension options is the better handling...Z51 or the FE45 adjustable. You would think that the adjustable suspension which cost 1600+ would be better than the cheaper Z51. Although I imagine that the Z51 is a no compromise track suspension.
Thanks for the info.

The Z51 is a no compromises suspension -- track, not quite, but definately tuned for handling above all else. The tuneable suspension gives you a range, from smooth and a bit softer to a just a bit less than the Z51. It also weighs a bit more where a suspension would not -- not enough that the additonal weight matters unless you are going for near racetrack levels of performance, but a bit more nonetheless.

Default RE: Suspension options

can i ask a follow-up...?

the original post seems to imply that the non-adjustable suspension in the standard corvettes is the z51 suspension. am i correct on that? is it safe to say that a non-z06 corvette that does not have the suspension adjustment switch on the center console came equipped with the z51 setup?
