RE: tire pressure warning
There is NO reason why you should ever need to pressurize your tires to the "Max pressure" that is listed on the sidewalls! Inflate each tire to 30 psi and adjust as necessary to wear the tires evenly. I guarantee you that if you inflate to max pressure, you'll wear out the center of the tire in short time.
Look at your owner's manual or the sticker on the door jam for correct tire pressure.

30 lbs. will work great and the warning message will stay off. Same thing happened to me. You will worry for awhile and check your pressure often, then seem to forget about it after you drive for many miles with 30 lbs of pressure and no problems. Good Luck

thanks for the feedback...haven't drove on the tires more than on the way home with 50 lbs...the tire shop had 50 lbs in them and noticed the warning on the way home...since then i've dropped the pressure to around 30lbs and when they get hot they are about 34lbs and no more warning message....thanxs

RE: tire pressure warning
I can't believe a tire shop would put the max pressure in tires and pay no attention to the recommended levels. I would be cautious of these guys it sounds like they have at least 1 idiot working there. I was told even with non stock wheels the recommended levels are still good.Tire rack has some good tech articles on this:

Just to put my 2 cents in buy a good tire gauge dont use one of those pencil type I have a long acre racing gauge tire pressure set cold to 30lbs after running they run at 34-35 lbs.
