Default RE: Tires

A Discount Tire salesguy once told me that even Michelin makes OEM tires that last no more than 10,000 miles. He explained that often, OEM tires are the least expensive the car manufacturer can get. The Goodyear GSD3s are superior to the OEM runflats and are as good or better than the Michelin PS2s. I really like the fact that they are made here in the US by an American company and not by a company that is based in France. Heck, we drive an American supercar; why have French tires on the thing? Don't get me wrong, Michelin makes great tires, but it is refreshing when Goodyear beats them at their own game once in a while.

Goodyear has always been my personal favorite brand of tire. When we got our car, she had new booties on her so we don't need replacements for a bit, but when the time comes, we're goin' Goodyear all the way.
