Default Washer Fluid Sensor

New to me 99 C5 Corvette owner here. Getting a message in the DIC "washer fluid low" of course I checked the level and its all good. I decided to just change out the sensor with a brand new AC Delco and still getting the message. I am aware that the sensor needs to be in the proper position for the float to work and that is all good, still getting the message. Any ideas of what is going on here? Don't want a message flashing at me every time I crank the car up.

Welcome to the forum. The next thing to check would be continuity from there sensor back to the computer. Might need a Factory Service Manual with a wiring diagram to do this.

I have the same issue. The pump is working fine and so are the windshield wipers in all speeds. Please advise. I have the repair manual but ?????? All electrical wires look to be ok. Driving me crazy. Any suggestions on a non pro level?

If you pull the wires from the washer reservoir sensor and jump wire the terminals on the harness the message should go away. If that's the case you cold have a bad sensor or dirty sensor, not sure if it can be cleaned, or might be time to replace the sensor. Can't be to expensive if available. I would try this first.

You can check out Amazon for good sensor prices, Lower cost than the Corvette suppliers.

There is a YouTube on that sensor for replacement. He pulled the tank and flushed it. If you decide to replace the sensor and not flush you can pop the old one out and shove the new one in and lose some fluid without pulling the tank,
