i have an 02 z06 and am wanting to get headers for it but not if it will void the warranty and i still have 68000 miles left on the coverage. I have an extended GM warranty and was wondering if anybody has had any experience with this or already knows the answer. anything helps

According to a guyI talk towhen ever I'm at Rocky Mountain Corvette, headers will not void factory warranty. He put them in his C6 and had work done to his car by the dealership and they said headers were ok. The dealershipalsosaidif they had to take the headers off to do any repair work they would charge him for the labor to take the headers off. I would talk to the place you got the warranty through though.

Essentially, if the aftermarket part didn't cause your warranty issue the dealer has to honor the warranty.
