Just bought a 2001 z-06. love the care so far but i have a question about whether a low whine from the rear of the care i.e. diff or transmission is normal. thanks in advance

 

No-I don't have any gear noise on my 2001 C5 convertible-with top down or up.

Do all gears have the same noise? Same noise on the throttle and off throttle? Is the noise louder when turning? If so-louder when turning left or right?

Have you checked fluid levels/condition in the transmission and differential?
