Default RE: tires!!!!!

I got me some Michelin Pilot sports and they grip twice as good as the Toyo Proxis I had on there before. Night and day difference. I was able to take a FZ1 sport bike out of the hole and all the way up to 120 on these tires. If you can afford them I would HIGHLY recommend them. I think Discount had them at $420ish but my friend hooked me up for $380 each. only part that sucks is the tread depth isnt much. 8/32" or 6/32" something shallow like that. we will see how many miles i get out of them.

I carry Rosary beads and pray I never have a flat ! Ha!
A friend with a 2000 coupe once said the RF's are hard as your tricycle's rear tires...

(aren't they solid rubber[sm=yikesomg.gif])

Toyo RA-1's Go Big Or Go Home!

I love them but they last about as long as the tires on my ZX6-R, and they are well over $1,400 for all corners.

Might get burned for this but, when some smart *** kid in a honda pulls up and asks if those are good tires you point out the "Recommended For Track Use Only" right on the side wawll but the D.O.T. is on them.

I have heard a lot of good things about Toyo Proxes T1-Rs. Good handling, traction, and treadwear. You can get a full set for stock size for around $750 shipped from tiredealsforless.com. I will picking up a set within the next month.
