Default z06 headers

i am also looking into headers. question, if they are longer tubes then they wont bolt directly into my stock exhaust theats under the car. what else other then the headers needs to be replaced. want to keep it as cheap as possible. just get the headers in. what header should i look at?
any web siteinfo appreciated on products, not looking to replace the whole system at this point.

Unless you live in CA or somewhere that only permits short-tube headers you really should not look at anything but long tubes. They are not that much more expensive, or expensiveto fit, and provide much more mid range torque and HP. My recommendation would be to save $$ until you can do it right, maybe buying a whole header, H-pipe, cat back set at once, but definately get LT headers.

if i do long tube headers what else has to be done in order for the car to be operational?
you have to connect the header to the exhaust. what changes there? just the h pipe. I guess i am asking what do i connect the lt headers to the factory exhaust with?

You will also probably need an x-pipe/h-pipe to accomidate the LT headers.

You will need an x pipe to connect to a factory cat back. Please message if you want the headers ?
