I pretty much agree with them. It is not as perfect list, perhaps, but every car on it is damn good, and I understand some subtle differences ven if I disagree. Personally, I think the Porsche 911 (about $80K) is $15K better than the Caymen and Boxster they chose (about $65K), but I understand why they picked them rather than the 911, etc.
Overall, for about 30 years, I thought C&D did a pretty good job -- not a perfect job, but pretty good -- I think so this year, too.

Kinda agree with some and not others. Can't understand why Volkswagon is on there, though. German engineers-HA! The germans would have won WWII if they hadn't had to stop and adjust the valves! [8D]

No, I think Car and Driver targets their magazine at people who routinely use multi-syllable words -- those people tend to be better educated and that means they tend to match the demographics (income, age, household size, etc.) that auto advertisers want to reach most.
