The AC hose on my 2006 C6 burst and spewed all the refrigerant out.. The dealership wants $1100 bucks to fix it, but that sounds a little on the high side just to replace the hoses and refill the coolant.

Was thinking of just doing it myself, how hard a job is this? Can't find any info on the forum on how to do it...

Accessibility is going to be your biggest problem. Then you will need a vacuum pump if you plan to recharge the system yourself. $1,100 seems a little steep.
