Default C6 convert sales

Just wondering if any one knows why the C6 convert sales are so low?

Personally I like targa tops better, because it kinda of gives you the best of both worlds without having a rag top.

Its just personal opinion, but the look could be something. To me the combination of the new styling with long wheelbase and a convertible top doesn't work. That and the additonal $$ might make people decide to go ahead and get the lift top. The coupe I think has some good lines in it and I think the shape has more appeal, as does the slightly lower price.

We tried to get an 05 but they had problems with the power top & stopped production for a while & actually had a recall on the ones that were already out. Finally 14 mos later we ended up getting our order, but an 06 instead. Price might be an issue...but I love my convertible & 6 weeks later I wouldn't change it. I drive it daily, my poor Tahoe has been abandoned cept for when I have to take the kids places!

I would think price might be an issue, and i think the styling does work better on the coupe.
