Helping a friend. When harmonic balancer (damper) is bad, is it usually due to hard running abuse or high milage? Or is it poor quality GM parts which can occur at any time? Another question, what is best product to clean clear targa top?

It does seem like there has been alot of bad balancers. I'm thinking it could be a quality issue they should last longer than they do. I'm not sure the best cleaner for your targa top, there are alot of products out there. That's a good question for a car detailer.
