My manual transmission base 2007 won't start. I let it sit for about a month and battery was dead. Charged the battery up; alarm, lights, radio work but won't do anything. It seems the car won't sense the fob as i still have to get in it manually. I changed the battery in the fob and still no luck. Any suggestions?

 

Welcome to the forum. While I'm not that familiar with the C6, I seem to remember discussions about a RCDLR module that receives the information from the fob going bad.

 

I would try reprogramming the old fob and buy a new one to see if the fobs will work.

 

Does the Fob open the trunk or does the alarm work? That should let you know if the car is recognizing the Fob. Car display will usually tell you if it doesn't detect a Fob. Will the car start manually with the key?
