Default C6 ZO6 prices

Hello fellas.
I am new to the forum, but I have admired Corvettes all of my life. Just now I am getting to the point in my life where I can afford to treat myself to one of these awesome cars. I have decided to purchase a new C6 Z06. I have learned as much as I can about the car (the more I learn, the more I salivate!), however, I have a question for you guys. I know painfully little about the market price for the C6 ZO6 and would like to educate myself prior to walking into a dealership to order the car. Is this a car that can be had at MSRP? Are discounts off MSRP common or is this a car that is always sold at premium over MSRP? Any information you guys can share is greatly appreciated.

Regards,
Rafael

It varies and you will do well to shop around. I know there are some dealers still charging "market adjustments" for them and others given small discounts. Generally the cars demand a premium price in places you'd expect (CA, FL) and dealers in areas with less car-crazy populations seem to be giving discounts.

I think he's in San Antonio, TX. I don't know about central TX but both Houston and DFW are pretty hot markets where ZO6s still command a bit of a premium. I'm thinking places like Peoria and Casper Wyoming would be better scouting grounds for a bargain.

Yeah, I'm in San Antonio, TX. How much of a premium have you guys typically seen? I imagine San Antonio would be somewhat similar to Dallas/Houston markets.

It's close enough dealers would exchange/ship cars rather than take any lose, so yeah, its all the same. go on line and try there, nationwide

hi my name is charles butera, i am a salesman at the largest chevy dealer in the country PADDOCK CHEVROLET in kenmore ny, I have 2 08 Z06 right now in my show room. A red one and an orange one. Most dealerships will charge about 5000 over msrp for this vehicle. I on the other hand feel that i should be able to get you the vehicle at msrp if not a little better. If you live out of state i will help you to arrange everything, we have had people from florida, california, texas, all over the place come to us for their cars. i can promise you this..... you will not be more pleased then speaking with me. You can email me at cbutera@paddockchevrolet.com . Please before you make any more email me.
