Corvette SS
Not sure how true this . I can not see having 600hp and driving it on the roads
- The "Corvette SS" undeniably a go.
- We are at the very beginning of the program.
- Will be limited #s
- Not indicated to be "blue devil".
- Will be outfitted with a "charged" LS9.
- This will be a Corvette-only motor not to be in a caddy.
- The LS9 is a smaller displacement motor than the LS7. <----
- The "Corvette SS" will be top dog, Z06 will not be.
- Well over 600 HP.
- No test/beta/pilot Corvette SS exists in any shape or form. So don't waste your time looking for one yet.
- Unlike info on some other sites, this Corvette WILL NOT be seen for a very very long time.

I got a 600 HP daily driver, and it really will work - daily.
I really drive it to work - local streets and interstate 40 here in NC and into the parking garage every day, at least on days when it won't rain (the drag radials sort of preclude rain). 565 RWHp with the cutouts closed, 594 RWHP with the electric cutouts open, and either way, it idles and behaves just fine in traffic -- AC, CD player, power everything and leather.
The key to driving a 600+Hp car daily is to never use the 600 HP.

That kind of power is definitely workable in routine type driving. One of the times I've driven the new Z06 was in an absolutely horrendous downpour. Same with a 600-hp Mercedes sedan. Neither was particularly scary. Traction control helps, but the key isn't in the car or its horsepower -- it's in the discipline of the driver.
Now, I don't say that last part to brag. Believe me, I got that discipline from nearly busting my *** in some stupid moves. Only after I really hurt myself in a Z06 at Mid-Ohio did I finally get said control over right foot!
