Exhaust on my c6

Default Exhaust on my c6

Ok, I just got an exhaust installed on my Vette today and it's not loud enough..... I got the borla kit and the x has cats..... Should I get them out? will it effect back pressure ect......

Yes, people answer questions here, but exhaust questions are almost impossible to answer particularly when it is not clear what sound you want. Sound is a matter of personal preference, and if you want very loud (I'm not one who likes that) start by just pulling the mufflers - cats alone act as something of a muffler -- or get a Borla or Corsa straight through "off road" exhaust. Personally, I prefer a big-pipe flow-through exhaust like the Borla Stinger or the GHL stainless system I have now. These exhausts have their own sound, quite different than all the in-and-out muffler systems, and are only slightly louder than stock with a very deep bass at idle and around town, yet flip over to a sharp rasp on full throttle, with no resonance at any RPM.
