Default Help with options for my dad's 08 C6

Hey all,

I have finally convinced my dad to come back to the performance car arena with my '90 mustang.3100 lbs, bigheads, lopey cam, intake, 5psi blower, easy 11 second daily driver. He is a different man driving my car.

He had a modified 55 ford, 64 GTO, 67 Vette Convertible, and then a string of utterly disapointing/expensive porsches that turned him off sports cars (70 914, 77 924, 87 911 Turbo look Cab).

He is now 65 and is very strongly considering an 08 C6, 3LT, Auto (on the fence with a manual). He really wants 3LT for the telescoping wheel, doesn't really care about HUD, andis the stereo that much better than base?

He def, wants navigation package.

But, he wants the NPP exhaust, I told him for much less than 1200 dollars we can geta set of electronic cutouts and really wake it up. Do you think that would void the warranty?

He also is against the magnetic ride as he doesn't think he will ever switch it to sport mode, and thinks the z51 will be too harsh for daily driving?

He only put 10,000 miles on the 911 he bought in 17yearsas he was always worried about it as it was very rare (1 of 16 and very expensive in its day) soall along I have tried to talk him out of the Z06 as he will worry about it as well, and am trying to keep the price down on this base c6 to prevent the problems he has had in the past. He has agreed to get rid of it after 2-3 years and may even lease it so he will really use it as he "really doesn't own it". The issues here are all psychological and not financial as he is just fine in that department.
