Default How to Remove ACSComposite ZR1 Splitter?

Hey everyone. I’m looking into getting the ACSComposite ZR1 aero for the C6 grand sport. I’m curious though, as to what happens if it breaks as it says it installs with split rivets. I’ve heard they are difficult to remove. Also when replacing it do you know if you need a new front bumper reinforcement as I thought the rivets in the splitter poke through into the reinforcement to keep it there.

Welcome to the forum. Might check with ACS for suggestions. I know there's other alternatives.

I meant fastener alternatives, not spoiler alternatives. 😊

but the reason I would like RPIDesigns is becuase it says it is the exact OEM production zr1 spoiler, like even the same carbon fiber weave.

That should allow you to use the OEM fasteners shouldn't it?

I think you end up using all they OEM fasteners but to secure it more you end up using extra fasteners for reinforcement
