Just have to tell ya'....got my 2005 C6 delivered last night. Machine Silver, 8700 miles, beautiful, and I'm lovin' it! This is my fourth vette...started with a 95, then 2000 to a 2001, and now the 2005. I know that the C5's were known for leaky differential seals. Is the 2005 C6 notorious for anything? Great forum -- really enjoy it.

 

Yah It's notorious for FUN TO DRIVE. Congrats on joining the C6 Club. Mines a 2007 tripleblackconvertible. If you don't mind me asking what did an '05 with that kind of miles on it cost ya. My buddy is in the market and wants one with almost thoes exact specs.Thanks and have fun.

 

Sorry I didn't answer your reply earlier. Since I am new to the forum, I didn't realize that anyone had replied. In answer to your question, I paid 37,000. Probably too much, but I wanted the car. I traded a 2000 C5 with 10,600 miles on. I have owned four vettes and I have bought all of them from Corvette Palace in Austin. They have always given me very good service, and I believe what they tell me.

After I bought my car, I found a 2005 Sunset Orange at a dealership in Dallas for the same price. I had just slightly over 3000 miles.
