Hello to all. Lucky newbie with a victory red c6 ls3. I was unable to locally find one with the dual mode exhaust but want one. Is it an easy swap out? Or does anything else need to be done to the car. My goal I think is some long headers, stock x pipe , and npp. I think I can get at least 25 ponies with that. Any info would be appreciated.

 

If you can find one at a good price it will bolt right on: oif course you will need the wiring, etc., too, and information on where and what to wire. I've helped reomve one and install anftermarket but never the other way.

Frankly if you can't find a good one coming off some car someone is modifying you will probably want to go with some aftermarket exhaust. It would definately go with the long tube headers, that and a tune should give you 20-25 extra RWHP.

 

Thanks lee for the advice. I had the opportunity to ride in a c6 with corsa sport exhaust. It was loud. I did not like it much. I think I am gonna go with the long headers, high flow cats and stock mufflers as well as a good street tune....thats about it for now.
