Hey does anyone have any idea what's reasonable in terms of "ADP" (additional dealer profit) on the 07/Z06...I got one offer from a dealer that would "give me the car", lol...for 7k over Sticker (77k).....Is the car buyable at sticker, or not? thx..df

 

Got my 06 last Oct for $5000 under sticker buying fleet. We were really surprised the dealer honored the fleet discount, weren't really expecting them to.

 

I went by the dealer in town here a couple days ago to check out the 07's, he only had the 1 Z06 in there. He was asking $69,998.00.
Why are they marking up the price so much where you live?

Guess it all comes down to what you really want to pay for it.

 

When the C6 first hit the road, a dealer in Tampa, FL was getting $10,000 ADP with the attitude if you wanted one of the 1st ones on the road...you were going to pay for it.

 

thanks for the feedback, I found a dealer who has 2 allocated but not yet built, he is going to let me have it at sticker (am I lucky or What, lol)...if they aren't spoken for....we'll see....the one I looked at today, for the 7k over, was awesome...silver...and sounded great when they started it...no test drive offered though....shocker huh?

 

Much as I hate to say it, with all the minor problems I have seen, heard, and experienced (drove one today), I would not pay sticker. I think if you wait just a bit they will be offered at discounts just like the standard model.

 

Personally I would buy a used on with a few miles on it. I have seen them on AutoTrader.com with only a couple hundred miles on them. Might be something to look into. Aside from that, the last person I remember posting said he paid between $2k - $3k over sticker (can't remember which one). Good luck.

 

The one I drove yesterday was like that, private invidiual that had bought the car and was now selling it with only 1300 miles on it.

 

Here in Memphis one of the biggest corvette dealers in town was taking orders for the '07s and selling them at list, but you supposedly had to be a customer of his in the past.

 

So Lee was it a friend of yours, or are you thinking about purchasing one yourself?
